I’m currently developing a tool designed to guide biologists in matching their experimental data with the most suitable analysis methods for their research goals. This app aims to simplify decision-making, reduce trial-and-error, and give junior scientists a clearer roadmap in bioinformatics.
But science is not just about code and pipelines. It’s also about resilience, perspective, and creativity. That’s why a second part of the app is dedicated to daily guidance for research professionals.
🔮 A Daily Guide for Positive Spirits
This part of the app draws inspiration from Zhou Yi (I Ching) philosophy—an ancient framework not in conflict with science, but a way of observing patterns in nature and aligning our actions with them.
Using the 六爻 (Six Lines) prediction method, the app provides holistic daily suggestions for biologists. These insights are not technical solutions, but gentle reminders to approach experiments and projects with fresh thinking and positivity.
For example:
You receive “水雷屯” followed by “泽地萃.” Today may feel like a slow start or even stuckness in preparing materials or writing. But the second gua suggests support from experienced colleagues—asking for help could unlock insights that move your work forward.
These daily guides encourage positive thinking, creative problem-solving, and resilience in the face of setbacks—qualities every scientist needs.
